Crazy how fast the weekends go for me. Anyone else feel like that? I started to think about it, and I really don't dread Mondays too much anymore either. I look at it as a new week, a new start and a time to change something or focus on something for the week. Must keep thinking positive.
As far as my weekend it went a little something like this. Friday was the first day my sister had off. (She is now working Monday-Thursday and Saturdays.) It will take some getting use too but we will survive.
So Friday morning we went to breakfast at my favorite little place. They have the best coffee mugs.
Breakfast. It taste just like home cooking. I love this little cafe but I won't be eating out too much if I want to reach my goals.
Friday afternoon was my workout. I am loving this new lifting thing. I really think I enjoy it more than running. It is like my own therapy. It's just me, my trainer and an hour in a private gym. It's amazing! Friday was my first day doing tire flips and as much as it burned, I felt so much better after.
"What if I fall? Oh, but darling what if you fly?"
Saturday my birthday present from the hubby showed up. It's a key and lock. He had October 13th,2012 and Forever & Always on them. I will probably put one in my acadia and let him have the other.
Saturday night we went to my aunts for my sister's fiance "see ya later" dinner. He moved to Washington for his new duty station.
Sunday we went shopping and ran our errands. Every Sunday we go to Costco and I found this awesome Santa with a chalk board for $20 - I had to have him.
My anniversary was yesterday (Monday) so my sister is so awesome she bought me the pants I have been eyeing at Lorna Jane. I can't wait to wear them! I just need to find a top to wear with it.
Of course I had to sport my new jersey that my brother got me for my birthday. #13 Chargers! plus it doesn't hurt win the chargers win & believe it or not, we are #1 in the league currently!!
Happy Tuesday!
How was your weekend?
Aww such a sweet & thoughtful gift he gave you!
