Monday Motivation

The best feeling is waking up on Monday the week of taxes and knowing your property taxes are paid and you are getting a refund from your taxes! Also, it doesn't hurt that I don't have to work today. Let's do this Monday thing...

I don't watch Dancing with the Stars. I also normally don't watch too many videos on facebook because I am typically pretty busy. Yet, lately this video has been going around facebook and it intrigued me to watch it after I saw 3 of my friends repost it.

Noah Galloway lost his leg and arm in a roadside bomb in 2005 in Iraq. This video is the story of him and the dance. This shows how he learned to accept his injuries and keep moving forward.

Next time I want to complain that I am too tired, that I don't feel like doing it, that my weight won't come off, that I can't stop eating the crap - I am going to remember this! He pushed so hard and overcame so many obstacles just to have his life back. Now gets to dance on this show and share his story with so many others. It is such an inspiring story and amazing motivation.

Have you seen the video?

Monday Motivation

Happy Monday ya'll! Hope you had a great weekend. I know I sure did.
Here is some Monday motivation since I am running around like a headless chicken today..
Remember the choice is yours to change your life. I can't wait to see where I will be in 30 days.

Motivation At It's Finest

Here we are May First. I can't believe it! I am bringing my A game this month to seriously get this workout and weight loss journey under control.

Liz wrote about the hard part of the journey and I started to think what do I do when my journey gets hard? I immediately went to, I read quotes. I find inspiration to keep moving forward. This is brought the idea of why don't I share some of my favorite quotes with you.

I love all these quotes and I have tons more. I have this weird thing where I save them, write them down, and or can just remember them when times get tough. Remember, we are all a lot stronger than we think!

Happy Thursday!

Reaching out to you

Motto

Here I am again..Lost in the transition of wanting to work out and not feeling like I have the time to do so. I so badly want to lose this weight. I lost 10 lbs no problem and was on a mission to continue losing weight well than life happened. I stopped working out, I stopped caring what I ate, I went back to my old ways and while yes I have NOT gained any weight back yet, I am still very unhappy with where I am at.

How you do ladies do it? What keeps you going? I was so motivated for about a month or so. I did everything I could think of than BAM- slap in the face I stopped caring. I have seen my hard work disappear. I want that motivation back. I want to lose this weight to prove to myself that I can do anything I put my mind too. I want to stop craving dr. pepper and I want to stop eating whatever is laying around.

This is me reaching out to ALL of you. Tell me what has worked for you? What hasn't worked for you? What do you tell yourself to keep motivated? What do you to keep pushing forward?

While school this semester is going to be VERY busy as I am student teaching at a preschool, plus working 3+ days at E mans old preschool, plus continue doing my day job and having a family. I know I need to schedule in this time but I always feel so guilty. I always rather sleep in, see friends, watch that movie, do extra work, and so forth.
As you can tell, I do NOT handle stress very well.
That is the end of my rant today

Hope you all have a beautiful Wednesday and make the most of it!

Happiness

I am hoping to remember this as so many times I fill my plate way more than I can handle
