SUMMER BUCKET LIST

Hold on everyone, I am blogging again this month! Say What! 3 times in a month, I might have to hold on to the rest of my posts for July. I am slowly getting back into the swing of things between work, life and everything else.

Summer is finally here. Anyone else wondering where in the world did the time go and how are we already half way through 2018? I can't complain though, over all it's been a good year and I am thankful its moving fast. I would love though for it to slow down a bit to enjoy these summer months.
Shirt // GI Jane
How perfect is this shirt for any occasion this summer? I always love a good camo shirt but that American Flag pocket totally makes it. Gives me all the heart eyes!

With Summer here, I am ready to make a summer bucket list to really make the best of it!

Summer Bucket List:

Go to a country concert
Go to the the fair
Go on a three dates with the hubby
Spend a full day swimming
Take a full day off from work
Go on a date downtown (Old town or Seaport Village)
Take more pictures
Go on more dates with my girlfriends
Continue to grow Rustic Pineapple Boutique
Go on one vacation
Plan our fall vacation
Save some money
Go to a Padre Game
Be Spontaneous
Go to the movies (preferably the luxury theater)
Enjoy Summertime

I honestly have the best friend. We spontaneously went to Kenny Chesney concert last week just the two of us & loved it! Kenny was ok but Old Dominion totally rocked it. I would love to see them again. I cant wait to see what memories we will make this summer!

Summer Recap

I am officially saying Goodbye to summer because I am so ready for fall.
I want the cooler weather, the pumpkin flavor everything, boots, scarves and actually wearing some clothes not just bathing suits.

On the other side of that, I would say summer was a pretty good one. Not one for the record books and it will never out do #summer2010 which happens to be the summer I met the hubby but it was a good one.

Let's Recap

This little beauty turned 21 in June and we spent a few nights in Vegas celebrating.

On that same Vegas trip, I got a phone call that my baby boy had stopped eating and wasn't looking too hot. He just had surgery before I left and I wasn't ready to put him down. I can proudly say he's back to playing and running around the house.

I spent 2 days a week in the gym. I love being able to go in there and just forget about everything. It's almost my one anniversary with Smash and I want to start to actually keep track of my workouts and progress. I want the next year to be the best one yet with Smash.

Also, check out my trainers wifey Arkitty , she just started her emPOWERment challenge. It's so awesome because she builds your workouts, your numbers and more just for you to be in her challenge. She also, just started a youtube channel where she will be there to guide you in your journey. I would highly recommend her. She is amazing and actually has helped me so much.

I also had a really good friend come to visit from Virginia for a few days. It was great to see her and catch up.  We also happened to crash my step mom's house to use her pool & drink her beer.

July

I changed my hair for the first time in years. I finally colored it and went shorter. I loved it and I can't wait to go back to get it trim again.

We spent 4th of July at my aunt's house than came home to eat dinner and hang out. We watched the fireworks on tv and there was no better way I would've rather spent the day.

We finally got to go to a Padres game and with my best friend who is officially engaged now. I was dying to go all season. So I guess one is better than none. Next year, I want to catch at least two.

We got to go on family walk/runs together. Princess loved her time with Daddy running since I don't run fast enough for her. Sometime dates don't have to cost anything.

August I was able to go back to Minnesota for a few days to see family. I also than spent the next two weeks on vacation mode.

Overall summer went by super fast but I enjoyed it. I am ready for fall and making fall plans, dates, and a fall bucket list.

How was your summer?

Swimsuit Season Is Around The Corner

Some of you might think I am crazy for doing this but let's face it people summer is ALMOST here. Unlike all those gym rats though, I have not been working on my summer body during winter months until recently, as in I am 3 weeks into my new program.

I am teaming up with Jess, Marcy & Val for this awesome swimsuit Challenge.

My goal by October 1st is to lose 30 pounds and it is completely doable if I stick to my workouts & eating "clean." I am hoping to document this process but if I so happen to forget to do so on this blog.. come follow the path on Journey Back To Jessica

Do you want to join in too?

The rules are simple

1. Get a really small bikini.

2. Take a picture in this really small bikini

3. Work your ass off for the next 90 days before summer to look beyond sexy in this really small bikini laying on the beach

The girls will be checking in weekly on their blogs so make sure you follow each of them for some motivation. You are welcome to check in with them weekly, biweekly, monthly or just once at the end. The reason for the before picture is for you to see how much you can change in just a short 90 days.

For this challenge I will be finishing Jamie Eason live Fit Trainer program that I am currently on with taking one week off to move my little sister from Minnesota to California. I have recruited the husband to go to the gym with me to help me with the workouts so I do them correctly.

Come join the fun & let's rock this summer.
