Time Is Going Too Fast

What a week this was and how fast it went by..any one else with me on this?

I honestly have no idea how so many of you can blog and work full time.. I am always in a constant struggle between the two.

Let's back up to a week ago & go from there!

Last Friday.. Alex and I went down to the beach and roamed around for a few hours. He even got me some awesome Lorna Jane pants. I love spending days like this with him.

Saturday I booked up to go Whale Watching. It really only happened because we had a buy one get one free coupon so why not use it right?

It was a 4 hours boat tour around the ocean. We only saw one Blue Whale but it did do a tail flip thing. (More pictures to come of this)

After Whale Watching we decided to go to Kansas City BBQ. I have been wanting to go forever to get a tank top. The bar scene from Top Gun was filmed here. Plus they have the best wings I think and burnt ends.

After dinner we roamed around Seaport Village for a bit and ate some ice cream. It was just a cute Saturday date.

Sunday I went with my Aunt and Sister down to the mall to exchange her purse and we ended up back at Kansas City BBQ. I couldn't say no!

We hit the 60 day mark until the cruise.. that means I have 2 months to get my butt into gear to get into a swimsuit. Lord help us all. I am going to try to write out a post of what I am doing and lately I have been getting my arms are getting smaller and my clothes are starting to fit better.

Tuesday Alex decided he wanted to do a challenge. For the next 20 days to post a sweaty picture to his FB of working out.. so I decided to hit the gym with him bright and early..

Wednesday I was all alone doing my running thing.. I love this time! It's just me and my thoughts!

I got home to the this surprise. A Michael Kors backpack and some beautiful flowers.. Isn't my husband so thoughtful sometimes?

That leaves me to this weekend... We have some plans and some fun!! I hope to be back to blogging at least 3 times next week but we shall see. We just never know what will happen in life.

Have a great weekend

Just Another Week

Wow what a week this was...
It's crazy to think how fast time is going and how things are happening all around us that we may not even notice.

Monday: I wake up at 4:30am on Monday & Wednesdays and I love getting these little notes from my tea.

My tea note was perfect considering later that day the world would lose one amazing man. My heart breaks for him and his family. Depression is a serious disease that is so well known but little is known truly about it and what causes each person to have a different breaking point.

This picture of Aladdin is just too good for words.

and don't forget EVERYONE is fighting a battle you probably know nothing about

Tuesday: Hubby got me up and out of the house on time to hit the gym super early in the morning. I am surprised I actually did it.

Wednesday: Costco is selling the Cinnamon swirl protein and I went to get some and found this little gem. I wish C4 would work for me but the husband would love it!

Did a little cardio after work

Thursday: Went to barre class and planks are killers but so worth it.

I also tried this gluten free mix and I love it!!! It taste really good and now we want to try it as a waffle. Even the hubby ate the pancakes

Just wouldn't be a blog post with out her right?

This weekend is another jammed pack fun time.

Hope ya'll have a great week and even better weekend!

A Quick Glance At My Week

Friday is here! Let's start with how I am a bit disappointed in myself that I did not wake up at 5am to go running.. Anyone have tips on jumping out of bed this early? When my alarm goes off I have this habit of just hitting snooze or turning it off. Next thing I knew it was 7am and I had to jump up to start work. Any ideas would be awesome!!

Back to my week. It's been crazy busy as usual. I do something every night I feel like plus make dinners and pack lunch.

My week - I started 30 days no eggs, no dairy, no soy, and no gluten. This was my breakfast. So far it's going really well. I am just not sure if I like gluten free bread over ezekiel bread.

I finally made it back to the gym (2 days in a row). I noticed how when you stop running how much slower you get and how much harder it is. I am going to set a small goal for next week about my cardio. I need cardio in my life. What does your cardio look like for a week?

I also went to costco this week and they are selling the cinnamon swirl protein. Anyone try it yet? I've heard it's good and it smells delicious. Can't wait to give it a try and let you all know.

Over all my week was good. Tonight I have barre class plus a busy weekend ahead of me (hoping to get some cardio in).

How was your week?

Picture This...

Welcome to Friday..

You are probably wondering where I have been all week right?

Maybe you aren't... Maybe you didn't even notice I was missing...

A little off topic...I know I said I would put up the tutorial for the diaper motorcycle cake but sadly I have ran out of time since my week was cut short... Next week if everything works out right..sometimes life just gets crazy

Side note:..Good news I have lost 4.5 lbs in a week (secretly celebrating)

But Picture this.. Toes in the water, ass in the sand, and a cold beer in your right hand.. What are you thinking??

No I am not at a Zac Brown Band concert... but close

I am beach camping this week!

I wish it looked like this

I am hoping to be back Monday with all the pictures and fun.

Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

A Little Bit Of My Week

We made it to another weekend.
Sometimes I swear I blink and it's the weekend again. Anyone else feel like this?
My week was busy with a lot of nothing fun really. I have a huge to do list and lots of work to do. Sorry in advance for my lack here on the blog.

My week looked a little like this...

I made stuff peppers Sunday and we've been eating it all week. It's actually pretty good. I sorta made it up on my own.

I want to change things in my life. Mostly the foods I eat, my workouts and how I handle stress. Here's to changing up my priorities.

Made it to the gym Tuesday for the first time in a week. Let me tell you, I can tell I took a week off and it was ugly.

Probably the least amount of miles I've ran in a long time. I really miss running the 3+ miles a day but I just can't seem to get there yet.

Found this new seasoning at Trader Joe's. The hubby is going to give it a try this weekend.

Found this beautiful picture of Miranda and it couldn't be more true.

Wednesday was exactly 100 days to get my butt into gear before I step food back onto a cruise ship. Here goes all or nothing right?

Wednesday was back at the gym for day 2.. Let me tell you, 2nd day after boot camp was horrible. I was extremely sore which I think plays into the part of not running like I want too

My Cali Mae thinks she needs to go camping apparently..She sure knows how to make a bad day amazing.
I love her.

My week went a little something like that.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Boring Week & Extremely Tired

Happy Friday ya'll!

It's 4th of July therefore you can catch me laying in the pool in the sun probably with drink in hand. I sure hope you are doing the same.

This week was rough to say the least. I have had this never ending headache and giant amount of stress but none the less here is what it's been like for me.

My good friend sent me this anchor. How cute is it? She said she was browsing the mall and saw this and instantly thought of me. I swear I have the best friends in the world.

The one day I did make it to the gym was Tuesday. I ran for 28 minutes straight. That was impressive for me. Considering a month ago I couldn't even run for 5 minutes. I guess it's true, slow and steady and eventually you will be able to do it. Progress slowly.

This is how I felt Wednesday...

Thursday was a work at home day and some barre class

Nothing grand I told ya... I just hope I am not this tired next week.
I hope ya'll have a great 4th!

I'll catch ya Monday!!

Happy Weekend!

What A Week + Blog Hop

Look at that.. Friday is upon us! We survived another week. My week was a usual week. Lots of work and running. The only one I truly enjoy is running but who does enjoy working?

Monday: It was back in the gym for me after having such an amazing weekend with my friend. I also started my 10 days of No Sugar detox

Work snacks.. I am thinking of maybe doing a post of what I eat. Would it be helpful to some?

Tuesday - Thursday kind of blend together. I worked and gym. Lately though I have been so tired, it's been a real struggle to get moving in the morning.

This is my new go to drink besides water. Super amazing and only 1g of sugar.

We finally tried Quinoa pasta and I can honestly say I liked it. It wasn't as bad as people made it sound but than again I have been eating whole wheat pasta for some time so it was no big deal to change it up. I honestly can't remember the last time I had white pasta

My sister made Chicken Pad Thai from Dashing Dish. It was super yummy. I made baked Parmesan broccoli (recipe to come) I ate that chicken dish for the next 2 days for lunch & dinner that is how much I loved it.

Love snapchats from the hubby.. Don't I have the sexiest husband ever?

Something about these songs and running = the best ever! I am learning the older I get the more I realize what a true friend is and how to be a true friend.

and I can't end a post without announcing my birthday is 99 days away ( I took this yesterday). My goal is to lose my weight by my birthday so it's time to buckle down and get to it! It'll be here before I know it!

Happy Friday ya'll!!

don't forget to link my facebook page for my fitness journey

Don't forget to link up below and hop around too!

A Week Worth Of Pictures: Run || Songs || Court

This week flew by. Anyone else with me on that?
I couldn't be more thankful as Saturday marks the end of my sister's teenage years and a lot of excitement happening around us.

First, if you saw my post about prayers being answered - thank you! A year and half ago while at a Jason Aldean concert, my life was changed forever. It was followed by many hours spent in a police station, looking at line ups, court dates, and talking to attorneys. Well, I am so excited to finally announce We finally got justice and my friend is doing amazing!  Here is the story if you want to read about it. This is also the reason I was in court last week.

Monday: Same ol' same ol'! I did mange to wear my new tank though the hubby picked out for me a few weeks ago.

I am loving barre class. I go twice a week. Other than that it's been focusing on my food and work.

Tuesday: I did it! I bite the bullet and bought us Blake Shelton tickets. Can't wait to see him! That's my new motivation

I shipped Dad's father's day gift to him. he is going to hate us for the paper shredding but hey it makes good packing material.

and than this happened!

Found an empty jar of Cookie Butter! That is just a sin among all sins if you know what Cookie Butter is! Only the best tasting stuff in all the land. The worst part, I never even ate it besides the finger test I did when I first bought it.

Wednesday: Morning pages

I did it! I couldn't be more proud of myself. I hit my PR and my goal for October to run a mile under 10 minutes. Now I am going to try to focus on running it consistently at this rate or better.

Thursday: Work work work. All day long and of course some free therapy time. Nothing better than when your wedding song comes on during a run and reminds you exactly why you are doing exactly what you are doing.

Than the song that perfectly describes every ounce of you is blasting in your ear.

Than, not to mention you are 20 minutes into your run and you just want to start singing at the top of your lungs.

Don't forget you finally tested out your pre-workout and it was crazy intense. The directions say take two a day. I am not sure how people do that!

Right off the deadmill without even waiting to see how many calories.

A night of barre to welcome the weekend!

That is how my week rolled out.

On a side note: Today marks One Year and Eight months since I have been married. Crazy how fast time goes when you are happy!
