Where I have Been All Weekend

Here I am.. I promise I didn't leave you just things around my house got a bit crazy over the weekend but none the less here I am to share it all with you.

Friday: I took the Bandit to go pick up E. You notice how small he got? plus can you tell he loves selfies? I know I need a car wash too.

Friday my brother flew in from Sacramento because our good friend Clayton came home for the first time since 2013. It was good to see them all. So we all went out to the casino and I lost all $27 hubby gave me to play. (I need I need to clean my phone camera)

not to forget, it was the first time in a long time I stayed up past 9pm on a Friday night. Than in turn means I slept in on Saturday and missed the time to take the fur babies to get rabies shots.

Saturday: Sister took her car into get an oil change and looked at since she bought it from Car Max. We found out her ac unit went out so they have to order in a new one. Can't live in San Diego with no AC. E man had his last game and we did the baseball party.

Proud mama of an All-Star member too. E made all-stars for the first time and can't wait to watch him play in that game.

Saturday night: My friend/ gym buddy Nicole had her graduation party. She graduated college and I couldn't be more proud of everything she has done in the short amount of time I have known her. So we wen celebrated with her.

Jack Daniels shots and Vodka soda drinks

The four of us. Emily (nicole's bff & another gym buddy), Me, Nicole and my sister Cynthia

After dinner with the girls we went by Clayton's house to celebrate him being home. He has done a tour over seas and this is the first time home since 2013. I love watching how much he has grown up and changed for the better.

We also brought the boys home and they were drunk and hungry apparently. They shared a plate of food together with Cali.

G apparently had a rough Saturday night too.

Sunday: Sister and I had massages scheduled and my shoulders are super knotted. I can't wait to go back. Than we went to lunch with my aunt and grocery shopping. Than it was time to start the week all over again.

Monday: It was my dad's birthday and we had a surprise dinner at a sushi restaurant. Brother flew home late so I was the lucky one to take him to the airport.

How was your weekend?

3 Simple Things I Do Every Sunday

I was thinking what to post about today and I have a list going on my phone but nothing was speaking to me that said post this on Thursday.

Than I remembered I wanted to share some simple things I do every Sunday to start my week off right.

I am starting to like Mondays because it's kind of like a restart button. We all start new things on Mondays.

The 3 simple things I do every Sunday

1. Change my bed sheets: Nothing beats having clean sheets to roll around in on a Sunday night knowing you have to wake up to an alarm on Monday morning.

2. Organizing my pills: I guess there is no fancy way to say this but I do organize and put all my pills for the week in an M-S container. What pills? My fish oil, muli and cranberry.

3. Clean my bathroom: I always clean my bathroom on Sundays. Usually it takes about 20-30 minutes to wipe everything down, clean the toilet, sweep the floor and clean the catbox.

These 3 simple things that I do every Sunday make me feel like I have something in my life put together and ready to rock my week.

What do you do every week to make yourself feel better about starting the new week?

Memorial Day Weekend Done Right

Wow! What a weekend! It's weekend like this one that reminds me how blessed I truly am.

Friday: I worked a bit. Cleaned up some and made a grocery list for all these things I had planned to make this weekend. Sister and I were heading to the gym to add another day to my 10 day gym challenge with the hubby. Ever since Thursday - I have managed to PR my 2 miles under 30 minutes each day. Extremely proud of myself. This HIIT workout is really paying off now let's hope the scale starts to reflect.

Sister did buy me some memorial day flowers. That are in full bloom now and smelling amazing.

I even manged to make some homemade spicy mustard. Recipe to come

Saturday: We decided to spend the day at home. Sister and I managed to clean out the fridge and freezer in the house.

That night some friends came over, made some healthy buffalo chicken enchiladas, land sharks and we played cards against humanity.

Sunday
Hubby sleeping with his first daughter Liberty. We slept in until 10 am and it felt amazing. I couldn't of asked for a better day to sleep in. After sleeping in, the sister and I managed to get dressed and hit the gym.

We came home and it was off to get ready to go run some errands. Since Sunday marked day 9 out of my 10 days to get some new shoes we checkout the mall. Sadly there were no shoes I had to have. Anyone recommend any good running shoes? I am really loving this cardio stuff. The shoes I currently have under armour doesn't make them anymore.

Monday: It was just as if it was another week sup I wasn't at the preschool dealing with screaming kiddos and sister made it to the gym with me.

I PR'd my 2 miles on the treadmill by almost 2 minutes. I really need to get over my fear and just run a mile to see where I am at. My goal is to run a mile under 10 minutes.

Of course I had to show my American Pride at the gym. Thanks to Blessons Apparel for the awesome tank. First time wearing them to the gym and I can't wait to wear the others now too. Little Miss 'Merica

When we got home after we talked ourselves out of going to the mall. The hubby came in saying we had a visitor.

Than we did some BBQ and got ready for a short week.

And just because the hubby likes to take selfies with my camera...

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Cinco De Drinko

Happy Cinco De Drinko!

We celebrated Saturday with the family down in Old Town just as we did last year. The best part is having my sister living here so I can abuse her as our driver.

We drank and ate.
Walked around. Checked out a few beer gardens.
Went shopping in all our favorite stores.
Went through the petting zoo.

We took funny pictures
Danced around to the random music.
entered the games at the booths

and we drank lots of beer.
I even got the family to do a shot of tequila that was $17.50 a piece

Over all, it was a great day down there. I loved being around the family and being out of the house. The only thing was it was like 90+ degrees so we were roasting. Now that it's Monday it's back to the grind as I have a very busy week ahead of me.

Did you celebrate Cinco De Mayo this weekend?

Happy Monday!

Family Photo Time

Back in December I had this wild idea to do family photos with my sister when she was out visiting. Thanks to Hey Jessie Photography for capturing these moments. I highly recommend Jessica. She is so hard working, loving & truly cares. We can't forget either, she is extremely affordable.

Here are some of the family photos

Eli & Aunty Cy

Eli & me

my mom had twins 5 years apart & two different fathers?? hahah it's becoming a running joke in the family now

The family

Typical of Alex when I am trying to talk to him

The 3 of us

The bond these 2 have is kinda scary.. they truly are like brother & sister

If only I did these before Christmas & did Christmas cards

& just because we do it EVERY year we take photos with Hey Jessie Photography.. we had to recreate this photo

We have lots of photos & I like the idea of taking family photos a family tradition. Isn't my hubby one sexy guy?

Thank you Jessica for all the hard work & taking photos of my family. Next year though, I want to be about 30 lbs lighter & in shape.

Do you take family photos every year?

Saying See You Later...

It is one of the hardest things to do for me...
how about you?
I hate it..I even hate it more when its a bond with an animal.
They can't speak but know a way into your heart. deep down in there & it never leaves
You might remember, a few weeks ago my brother came down from Sacramento & brought my fur-nephew Indy
I always knew that after these weeks he would be heading back home with him..
That time has come & I am just not ready for him to leave...

Look at that sweet sweet face. How do you say no to that?
I didn't. I pretty much spoiled him like any aunt would do.
He got rib bones, snacks, treats, lots of loving, car rides and even toys.
I am going to miss...
The howling and growling in his sleep
the hard hit of his tail when he gets excited to see you
the running up to me at the gate looking like he smiles
car rides with a dog the size of a horse in my little jetta
the kisses
the love he shared with me.
&& so much much more.

Please come back & sleep on the bed ANYTIME you want..
sooner than later...

or you can sleep on your own bed that you are just too big for but I love it just because you are inside with me.

the hardest part... I am not sure who is going to miss you more...
me or
that buddy of yours...Trigger
Who will get in trouble with him while he chews on everything..who will he chase around the yard..or play tug a war with..who will sleep with him in the dog house
what dog will share a bowl of dog food with him and even a bone? Run up n down the grove & all over the road... you two made a bond..

Indy,
I love you as more than just my fur-nephew but as my own. I always will & will always want you here. I know I gotta do what is right & that is to allow you to go home, but PLEASE come back & visit me for my wedding for a long period of time. It will make my wedding that much sweeter for me {as selfish as that sounds}
stay a puppy forever

See ya later boy....

We Got a Puppy!!!

How was everyone's cinco de drinko?
Mine was great.
Celebrated as usual.
Tacos. Beers & family.
Not to forget to mention, one of my good friend's baby shower.

Now though, if you follow me on instagram or have been reading on here
you know we got a puppy!!

Bloggy world meet Trigger - Trigger Meet bloggy world!
He is half rott/half dobi
He is 20 weeks old {this week}

Now you may ask, how did you get a puppy when you already had 4 dogs?
A has been feeling left out sorta (i want to say) since all my animals have been here before we got together. So he kinda adopted dogs, cats, and a bird when we got together. The only animal we got since being together was our Fish Rex & if you remember floppy we had to find him a new home though.
Well a few weeks ago, A told me he was going to get a puppy. I just told him to tell dad because he is  NOT someone to just spring things on. Apparently he called & he said ok (yet he was still a bit upset) but how can you stay mad that face for long?

The guy apparently got him to help his beagle lose weight, well the beagle was NOT a fan of the puppy & he was going to take him to the pound THAT day. So what does A do? He brings him home as he thinks we run our own pound. He always knows that once I see a puppy I won't let him go to the pound.
I am one of those that would adopt all the animals if they didn't make it so difficult to adopt an animal. Stupid pound.

So that is how we got trigger. Our puppy. He is a handful but so very loving.

A & Trigger.

Look at that sweet face!!!
I love him.

I am almost positive their will be many stories of trigger to come.

Happy Monday.
