Love Weekend

I am one lucky lady this weekend. The husband had a 4 day weekend which means lots of time together and lots of getting things done off the to do list. 

Friday I worked a bit. Than we left to do some errands that needed to get done. We returned his v-day gift and got him what he really wanted and we exchanged v-day cards early. Husband is so funny he forgot to write in my card. We went and had lunch at Chik Fila. Lastly, finally got to see American Sniper.

Saturday I did some more work at home while Husband and E-man went to baseball. My sister is so thoughtful and got us a present. She knows how much I love my sticky notes and bows. 

             

Later in the day, the FedEx guy dropped off these beautiful flowers and chocolates. (he also happened to drop off my sister's from her fiance) 

We had planned on pork chops, cauliflower fried rice and broccoli but hubby wasn't feeling it. Than sister took E-man on a date so we decided to order a pizza and wings & things. I was disappointed in the thin crest from Papa John's. 

Hubby got home with a surprise for me. A pandora princess crown to add to my bracelet. 

Sunday: Sister and I went got our nails done. First time I have gone since December. Went to the mall with my aunt and hubby met us down there since we both forgot our phones and went grocery shopping for the week.

Weekend Recap: Valentine's day || Pedicures || & More

Another week has past us & I still do not have any floors. Have no idea what I am talking about.. check here to read all about it! The tile man said by Friday for sure, but than again he said that last week too. 

Today is President's day which means NO work but lots of errands and getting things ready for the week. We're not here to talk about my week as how awesome my weekend was even with everything going on. 

Friday: Valentine's day! 
I took the day off from working at home because I was sick. I had a slight fever of 99.4 but I couldn't get rid of my headache and I knew I just needed sleep for the first time in forever. 

Hubby did manage to bring me some pretty flowers, card, chocolates & a Minnesota Vikings bracelet to support Wounded warriors. 

Than we all went to go get pedicures. It was much needed & amazing. 

I made crock pot cheeseburger meatloaf for dinner & becuase I wasn't feeling well I was in bed by 8:30pm. 

Saturday was a day of cleaning what I could & cooking lots of food. We decided on steak dinner for Valentine's day but because we were busy & not feeling so hot we waited. So happy we did because it was yummy. I even got coconut oil to saute my veggies in now, How did I ever live before?

Saturday night we watched About Time. It was a good movie. 

Sunday we spent the day at home picking up, doing laundry, & getting ready for the week. I made this pasta yummyiness and we randomly decided to go see Endless Love. I must admit it probably is my new favorite love movie.

Weekend was amazing over all. Love spending time with the family at home & just because she is so dang cute.. Cali thinks she is Trigger sleeping on the chair.

Channing is pretty good looking but I can't say I have a celebrity crush. Any good looking man :)

If she was ordering drinks for both of you what would you each get?

Depends on if we are drinking alcohol she would order me a captain and coke and her a Mai tai if they made good ones if we are not drinking its water (she secretly loves dr. pepper)

For him: Coke & Rum & Me it just depends my go to drinks are mai tais & margaritas & Majitos. Otherwise, we both always drink water(Gotta get our 64oz in)

He knows me pretty well! 

What is the best meal she has ever cooked you?  

hands down buffalo mac and cheese

I am not sure. I like to cook & bake 

He just loves mac & Cheese so that usually is always a win
