Friday Letters

Dear Weekend, We meet again. I am excited to sleep a bit and relax. We have nothing crazy going on besides I am getting my hair cut/color for the first time in almost a year. Check for it next week on here. I am so going to attempt to really meal prep and clean out the fridge.

Dear Hubby, I love you. Thank you for working so hard and doing everything you do. I know work has you up super early this past week but I promise to let you sleep in on Saturday. I will try to control your dog from barking but no promises and your fur daughter loves to talk to you. #sorrynotsorry We have 84 days until Mexico, are you ready?? I can't believe how fast it is going.

Dear Work, I really need to figure out a schedule for you. I am always lost on what exactly I need to do each day than I am left rummaging through work and in 100000 different piles of paper work after about 3 hours of sitting at my desk. This needs to change. I am hoping since I cleared off the desk it might help. I will also work on scheduling my blog post so I am not too distracted.

Dear The Felicity Jar, Thank you for being such an awesome host with me for this link up. You are such a blessing.

Dear 24 Day Challenge, I am so excited to start you & actually follow you the right way. The fact I got a few friends doing it with me is awesome because than I know I am not alone in this. If I can actually complete this like I should, I will prove to myself that I can do all things. plus, I will plan on doing another one in the future with all of you.

Dear C25K, I am on week 3 and I can honestly say this is the furthest I have ran in a long time. Thank you for that. Thank you for allowing me to prove to myself that I can do this. I am extremely proud that I am actually sticking to this and not giving up because it got "hard"

Dear Shark Week, I am sad to see you go. I've had fun all week watching all these shows. I am always so intrigued with how many different sharks there are, their personalities and so much more. I am ready for you to return next year already!

Dear Readers, Thank you for the sweet comments this week. I am working on getting disqus comments on here so I can reply to everyone and not have to worry about no reply bloggers anymore. Thank you to Kailyn for my awesome new blog design and everything else she helps me with and more.

100 Day Challenge: Week 2

The countdown is still on to vacation time. We have 86 days until I am spending a wonderful week just my hubby and I with no cell phone and no interruptions. How could I say no to that?

I can't believe how fast this 100 day challenge is going. I am starting week 3 today and you can find week 1 recap here . Let's take a look back at week 2. This was a rough week.

Day 8/100 [Wednesday]: I did my c25k and walked with my friend on the trail by my house. It's 5 miles total but we only did one half of it due to an accident and Cali girl was extra thirsty.

Day 9/100 [Thursday]: It was upper body day in the gym. I am not sure what I like more upper or lower body. Either way it's a very much love/hate relationship. I also apparently suck at picture taking.. I promise to try to get better. I also went out to dinner and the movies. oops

Day 10/100 [Friday]: I didn't make it to do my c25k because we had errands to run first thing in the morning and the hubby had the start of his 4 day weekend. This was the beginning of a very rough weekend.

Day 11/100 [Saturday 4th of July]: I did mange to get on the treadmill to do c25k. I am on week 2 day 2. Than it was off to my aunts to indulge in good food and good company. I wasn't horrible but it wasn't 100 day challenge friendly.

Day 12/100 [Sunday]: Back to the grind. We went grocery shopping and I picked up shrimp and scallops and some extra yummy veggies. Also my favorite peanut butter. I also set my week goals that included drinking a gallon of water a day.

Day 13/100 [ Monday]: Hubby had the day off again from work so he was able to join me in the gym. My week started off amazing and I stayed within my calories and eating clean. I even meal prepped my ground turkey and broccoli for the week.

Day 14/100 [Tuesday]: I woke up extremely tired so I didn't make it to the c25k right in the morning but I did mange to do it in the evening. I mean it's 31 minutes this week. I just need to bust through it and get it done right?

If only we could eat Ben & Jerry's and make it fit in my macros, sadly it does not so I can't even have it in the house because I will be face first in a pint until it's gone.

I also took the leap of faith and became an advocare distributor for the discounts since I love spark so much, but I am going to be starting the 24 day challenge starting on the 15th of July. Anyone interested in doing it with me and a few friends? Anyone on it? Any advice for it?

Here's to week 3 of this challenge. I am hoping to start seeing some changes and finish strong with the c25k!!

Happy Hump Day!

Weekend Recap: Ted 2 // 4th of July

Hello Tuesday. I can't believe you're already here again. It seems as my weeks are flying by and we are officially in the last half of 2015! freakyyyyy..

Did anyone notice I got a new blog design? Thanks to the amazing Kailyn she always has the best magic touch. I am not a HUGE fan of the picture since it was BEFORE I started lifting weights but I'll change it when we do new family pictures this year.

Back to my weekend, it was amazing having the hubby home for 4 days.

Thursday night we got a date night in. We went to see Ted 2. It was as good as the first one as usual but it had some funny parts.

Friday: we hung out at home. Hubby went to workout for a bit while I finished up some work. Than I went out to dinner with my little sister and her aunt.

Saturday: I was up early so I could get my c25k in.

Than we all got ready and headed off to my aunts for some swimming and drinks for a bit.

We came home around 3pm and watched Fire and Planes. Took a nap and stayed home. We watched the Big Bang Boom on Tv.

I also manged to frame my diploma from when I graduated college back in 2011. It only took me 3 n half years to do it.

Sunday was back to our usual grocery shopping and meal prepping. We are 87 days away until our trip. It's getting serious around these parts

How was your weekend?

Friday Letters

Dear Work, You suck! I have so much of you to do and no motivation to do you. I wish someone would do this basic stuff that I hate doing so I can stick to the more complicated stuff that I secret enjoy just a bit.

Dear Preschool, I can honestly say I don't miss you. I love being able to run everyday of the week. Wake up when I wish which is usually around 6am and have no real stress of having to do a bunch of stuff knowing I have to be with you. I am praying I don't have to return in the fall.

Dear Hubby, I am so excited you have a 4 day weekend. That means we can get some stuff done around the house that needs to be done so badly. I know you aren't as excited as I am but it's okay you'll get there I promise. I am also really excited because we have 91 days until we are in Mexico together with no cell phones and just the two of us. I hope this 100 day challenge works amazing. I love you.

Dear Weekend, For once, we have NO plans and I am kind of excited to just spend the weekend at home. I know it's 4th of July but that doesn't mean we can't BBQ at the house and enjoy our spa. I am excited to get my running game back on track and continue this journey of 100 days. I also want to get some stuff done around the house.

Dear Camera, I hope I can get you fixed. I was really bummed that you sank in Vegas and broke. Hopefully they fix you or i'll have to retire you and get a different one.

Dear Workouts, I am loving you. I am so excited that I actually got to week 2 of C25K and my weight lifting is really improving. Anyone looking for an awesome trainer, you should def check out mine. She does online clients as well. I promise you'll love her

Dear Readers, Thank you for the sweet comments this week. I am trying to figure out how to use disqus for comments but I suck at technology so it's been no fun. Anyone want to help out? I hope ya'll have a great weekend and stay safe during the holiday.

Happy 4th of July!!

Currently // July 2015

I totally stole this picture from Kelly but how couldn't I? It's adorable!

I found this link up from Kelly as well which is the perfect 4th of July kickoff. We are linking up with Anne and Jenna for Currently in July...

Craving // Those Enlightened Salted Carmel ice cream bars. I eat one everynight before bed. It has 80 calories and only 5g of sugar. They are amazing! I found them at Costco.

Decorating // Hubby's wall of awards. He has to hang a new one and hopefully my diploma frame will be here this week after 4 years of graduating college.

Grilling // We are planning on grilling bacon wrapped chicken this weekend for the Holiday. Otherwise, we cook most of our food for the week on Sunday's to help stay on track.

Listening // well to be honest, the tv is on but I never really pay attention to it. It's just kind of background noise for me while I work.

Planning // I got the go ahead to book the birthday-anniversary trip this year. I am super excited now and it's all getting real. The #100daychallenge is real serious now

How do I get this in my closet, well at least the tank?

What currently going on with you??

100 Day Challenge: Week 1

We have 92 days until vacation! It's going to go by so fast and I really can't wait to spend a week with my sexy husband with no cell phones and just the two of us.

Since I first wrote about my 100 day challenge for myself I thought about how I want to recap it all. I am going to start with weekly updates day by day.

Week: June 24 - June 30

Day 1/100: [Wednesday] I can't believe it was already 100 days until this vacation. I started my C25K app again and I started tracking my macros.

Day 2 /100: [ Thursday]: I am aiming to hit a gallon of water a day. All I drink is water. This is my chug picture for another facebook group I am in where we do stop and chug photos. I also go see my trainer on Monday and Thursdays.

As it warms up around these parts of San Diego, Salads are becoming more and more popular in my house. Lots of green veggies and chicken. I also found this bomb spicy peanut vinaigrette

Day 3/100: [Friday]: I did day 2 of my C25K app. I am loving it so far. My food is going good and at this point in 3 days I had lost 2 lbs just by stop eating crap and watching my intake on food.

Day 4 & 5/100: [Saturday & Sunday]: Saturday I manged to get on the tread climber for 30 minutes before heading off to the fair. I did okay at the fair. I just had a few bites of my sisters pickle, my husband burger and I drank water and some adult beverages. I do try to stick to vodka and club soda. Overall, it wasn't a bad day. I still manged to lose some weight.

Sunday: Hubby and I went to sushi and I am going to have Sundays as my relax day.

Day 6/100 [Monday]: I was back in the gym. Squats for days. I really need to focus on my squats and get a better form and work on my depth. My trainer is on it and hopefully sooner than later I will be there.

Day 7/100 [Tuesday]: I finished off c25k week 1. I am going to try to do all of week 2 this week so I only do the running on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays and keep Saturday for the tread climber and reading.

Overall, I think week 1 went good. I still need to fine tune my marcos and I want to add in more weights besides the two days I am with my trainer.I am thinking of starting Chalean Extreme again, I just have to figure out a schedule that works for me.

Remember to follow along on insta and facebook

How are ya'll moving? Any tips for me?
