Over Due Wedding Post

Welcome to Wednesday Right?? 

Can I start this post with how excited I am that I ordered the new Lorna Jane cook book yesterday? With that, I am hoping to have new recipes for you coming soon! It was my present for running 3 miles yesterday finally on the treadmill. 

This isn't a fitness post but a rather overdue wedding post. Thanks to Kelly for the link up. (I will one day finish recapping my wedding) Here are some of my favorite pictures/details of the wedding!

The cake. My baker who was suppose to make my cake actually burned down 3 weeks before my wedding. So she referred me to another lady who made this cake.

I love my wedding. It truly was a fairy tale and amazing to see it all come together. I really need to finish recapping it all. My advice to brides to be.. make it about you & your future spouse. Keep an eye out for more wedding post as I think this just inspired me.

All Aboard!!!!

I am going to skip the wedding update & go straight to the honeymoon we took a few weeks ago (okay a month ago). 
Don't you worry your pretty little head though (anyone catch what song?) I will get back to recapping the wedding, maybe tomorrow as soon as I catch up on May Blog Challenge too! 
I get it, I am so far behind on blogging that I just don't know what to do? I say quit my preschool job & go back to working from home/blogging! {I wish EVERYDAY I am at that preschool I could do that!}

I was married in October 2012 & recently as in April 18,2013 took my honeymoon on a SHORT 4 day pacific cruise since it left out of San Diego.

We went to:

Santa Barbara

Catalina

Ensenada  

Today is all about day 1 of the cruise.. Boarding the cruise & exploring! Alex & I have NEVER been on a cruise. He has deployed on a ship before but nothing like this so to say we were excited was an understatement  Not to forget, we had the ALL you can drink package! & when Celebrity cruise line say ALL you can drink, they surely meant it! We tested those waters.

Super windy out! & damn do I look skinny!!! {working on that now!!! - I stepped off that cruise ship weighing the HEAVIEST I have EVER been in my entire life} 

The worst part about it, you can't go straight to your room. They let you hang around the ship for a few hours before opening up the rooms, but they do feed you & allow you to start drinking!

Finally got drinks in our hands! 

After we explored the boat a bit & a few hours past we finally were able to head to our rooms. 

I was pretty bummed though because we didn't get towel animals nor anything special for being our "honeymoon"

Testing out our bed for the next few nights.. I will say it was comfy but doesn't compare to my bed! 

I will say cruising is going to be just way too much fun! Before we even got off the ship, we had booked another cruise to Alaska next August and we are heading to a carnival one for my birthday/1 year anniversary in October. The food is good, the drinks are great & the weight you gain sucks BIG time, but hey we can't win them all!! It was worth EVER pound I gain {which was about 10, like I said I was the heaviest I have ever been in my life & clothes still aren't fitting just yet}

{I am on a fitness journey now & almost back to pre cruise weight hopefully reach before wedding weight too before August - I will be posting about it in the next week, you can follow me along on insta as well}

& because my aunt insist on everyone who cruises with her for the first time has to take life jacket pictures, this is ours for the picture frame of shame.. I must admit ours didn't turn out looking too bad!

The Morning Of The Best Day Part Two

Did you catch Part 1 ?

We celebrated our 6 months on Saturday. 

We are now about to go on our honeymoon FINALLY.

My laziness is coming to an end & I decided I should really start sharing these awesome pictures that I have from our wedding. After all, I got over 5000 & it was truly worth every penny I paid!! 

I/the girls stayed in a 3 bedroom villa from the night before & it became the after party & the boys got ready in our trailer my dad towed over to the golf course. 

Yes I got married at a golf course/bar. 

Let me just preface this saying, the morning of my wedding was unbelievable. I honestly woke up/never slept ready & excited. My event planner at the course was going crazy because the chairs/seat covers weren't there that I finally told her that my family would stand & no one would care about green chairs. In the end, everything worked out perfectly even through her attitude. We all truly were so relaxed & just enjoyed the day being with the closest people to me.

My morning was so awesome, I needed two post to cover it & still probably missed some things.

I did a first look with my dad {more on first looks because I did a few & think they truly deserve their own post} Let me just say, if you are getting married in the near future or anytime at all. DO A FIRST LOOK! After all I am my daddy's ONLY daughter & his youngest child.

The Morning Of The Best Day...

Saturday will mark our 6 month anniversary! 

Where is the time going? 

With our honeymoon cruise coming up next week, I couldn't be more excited to hit this milestone and have many more to come. 

Let's go back to 6 months ago.. 

How beautiful the day was considering just 3 days earlier we had the biggest storm San Diego saw all year long. 

The 13th of October was here. 

Finally, it seemed like forever since I was planning the wedding well over a year before the actual day. 

The skies were blue, the sun was bright & warm and the wind was just right. 

I was up at 5:30am if I even slept.. Alarm was ringing &

I was up & ready for my Starbucks's to start the BEST day of my life. 

I was ready to marry my Best Friend. 

We kept some things traditional..I didn't see Alex or my dad  until going to see each other for our first look!

The Morning started at 5:30 am & the wedding wasn't until 4:30 so we had some time to enjoy everything

I sometimes think I wish I could go back to this day.. 

to experience it all over again..

to feel those feelings again..

to party like we did..

to say I am sorry to some people.. 

to say I love you to a few more people...

to make it more about Alex & I instead of everyone else.. 

to change somethings & to make sure I did everything I wanted to do. 

This was honestly the beginning of the 

best day of my life...
