Happy Memorial Day!


Happy Memorial Day from my family to yours. I hope you all enjoy your day off and send up an extra prayer for those families who sacrificed so much for this country. 

Just in case you didn't know, Congress passed a law in December 2000 that at 3pm in your time zone that you stop to honor the fallen soldiers. Read more about memorial day here.

    I didn't know about the law! Thanks for letting me know! We spent the day visiting my grandpa's graves (a WWII soldier). It's always so beautiful at his cemetery, since they decorate it for Memorial Day.

    Was not aware of that law. Interesting. But we did pay homage to our fallen soldiers on "decoration day" aka Memorial day by decorating a fallen soliders grave.
