Stop Two: Puerto Rico

Take me back... 

I want to go back to the Caribbean 

After Grand Turk visit I had high hopes for the rest of the cruise

Next Stop: Puerto Rico 

Puerto Rico is known for their tree frogs in the rain forest. Sadly we went there when we were under the government shut down therefore the rain forest was closed!

Alex was up too early from me bouncing off the walls

We went to Senor Frogs 

(over priced EVERYTHING)

We got to try their food.

The weather was crappy

The people were nice

Would we go back? It is NOT on the top of my list to go back too. 

I hear there are much better parts of the town to see but first impressions left an impact. 

It truly reminded me of a run down San Diego. 

We boarded the ship again & hung out since FINALLY our wall between the balcony came down

Next we visit St. Marteen

Here's to another edition of So What Wednesday

So What If...

...we put our tree up last weekend and have not shut the lights off since 

...I think Eli has way to many gifts & know deep down that he probably won't play with half of them just like last year. It will get lost in the mix of things 

...I am officially done with school so I celebrated by sleeping in until 6:45am 

...I don't take Eli to school super early anymore since I don't have to be any where 

...I am thinking of driving to Starbucks today to go buy this awesome green tumbler 

...I am still in need of stocking stuffers & a few last minute stuff

...I have NO IDEA what to get my dad 

... I spent my $50 giftcard on myself 

...I throw out all my school stuff now that school is officially over for me for good {unless I do a masters}

...I am already planning our cruise for October 2014

...I haven't stepped foot into the gym in almost 3 weeks (I WILL GO BACK)

...in 13 days my baby sister will be here to help me celebrate 

...I am saying So What to a lot of things this week!

What Happens When You Turn 25

Did you know that this girl turned 25 the day after Thanksgiving?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAY! 

To say we celebrated in a BIG way is an understatement.. 

Pretty much no one moved on Saturday after thank you to fireball shots

Her boo thang who planned the entire night..

50 of her closest friends/family all surprised her 

than we took a party bus downtown to one of our favorite bars. 

I know you know Marty too

& than we don't know what happened when we got to the bar.. but I do know Marty was kicked out.. Kay was kicked out.. I was kicked out all at different times & we got home about 2am. What happened between there we are still trying to remember 

Can't wait to do it again!

Friday Letters

Dear Friday,

Thank you for showing up so fast. I feel like weeks are just flying by & I am always starting out these post with a letter to you.. I am just saying!

Dear 2013, 

You can slow down just a bit after Tuesday. 

Dear Cynthia,

You will be here in 19 days!! I can't wait to party with you. 

Dear Rafiki,

I sorry for neglecting you this week as we only meet on weekends. I have a fun trip planned to my aunts in you this weekend. 

Dear Christmas Shopping,

You have made me SUPER broke. I am not excited for you but I can say I am pretty much done besides stocking stuffers. 

Dear Christmas Wish List,

 I think I want a label maker. I know I sound so lame but no one can afford the $500+ presents I really want such as an iPad mini & the new T5i camera so I will just say label maker. 

Dear School,

We have two days left together until I say SEE YA THE F NEVER AGAIN!! 

Dear Alex,

See above on the letter to Christmas Shopping. I am sorry for making us so broke but hey at least people got some awesome presents including yourself. 

Dear new flooring, 

I really want you before the new year. I can't wait to rug shop & hopefully redecorate our room. 

Dear cleaning,

I am hoping we meet again in the near near future so I can deep clean this ENTIRE house & get it all straighten out as I have let you go over the last few years and now feel like my "guest" room is a storage room. 

Dear Self,

We will meet the gym again soon. I am sorry for stressing you out so bad lately I know its not good for your hair or health. Hang in there you can do this!

Our First Stop: Grand Turk

Just in case you forgot, I almost did too! I went on a Caribbean cruise back in October.

{I know I suck at blogging considering it's been almost 2 months since I was there} 

After I spent that day at sea I was glad to see land again..  Picture OVERLOAD ENGAGED!

After Margaritaville we wondered down to Jack's Shack that had the BEST dog in the entire world

Yes the water is really this crystal blue & yes that dog is walking on his back legs

We drank & played in the water. What better way to spend the day than to relax & enjoy your time in crystal clear blue water & super nice people. 

& than after a full day there we had to board our ship again but I promised to come back to visit! Leave it to me to find the dog on our trip!

I am going back.. Hopefully in 2014 & 30lb lighter!

So What Wednesday

This Week I am saying So What If...

...I have no idea where the trash bags are to the trash can in the kitchen but I did take the trash out 

...I over slept today 

...I am totally writing this instead of working 

...I am pretty much done Christmas shopping besides for a few special people 

...I am planning on getting starbucks do to my errands today 

...I keep putting off doing my homework 

...I haven't worked out in awhile & I can tell 

...I really want to have a date night with just Alex & me 

...I am super excited for Christmas but now I am not sure I want to decorate 

...Eli made it very clear that he wants a Christmas tree 

...I am not sure I am going to do the Elf on the Shelf trick even though we own 2

...I am thinking of spending my $50 giftcard on myself for something special..just not sure what yet 

...If I am truly just lazy

Poppin Treats Cake Pops

Have you tried cake pops?

That is a silly question.. 

it's more like who doesn't LOVE cake pops!

Do I have a treat for you than.. Jasmine who blogs over at Jasmine Maria blog owns a very adorable etsy shop called poppin' treats & she let me taste test these for you! 

Let me just say they are AMAZING 

& probably my favorite cake pops I have tried.

They sure beat Starbucks. 

I received my package about 3 days after she shipped them.

Yes you read that correctly, she does NOT live by me.

(i wish though, she lives in Wisconsin and I live in California)

I was lucky enough to taste test a few different flavors

Red velvet, chocolate, strawberry and brownie. 

They are ALL amazing. 

Very moist & yummy.  

The smell makes me want so much more even though I am working out & trying to eat healthy but you know I have to sneak one every now & then now with the holiday's coming.
