Mental Break

Today, I am taking a mental break. After talking with my instructor from my barre class last night, I learned that sometimes I just need to sit on the couch for hours on end watching reality crap and resting.

For the first time in years, I slept in until 7:15am without even waking up once besides when the hubby left for work. I still manged to make it to the gym (even though I didn't want to). Thank goodness sister got the day off work and convinced me to go! It must of been a sign.

Now, I am going to focus the rest of the day on working at home. Getting my stuff done since I am a month behind, writing up my blog post for #befearless and a post about what I have been thinking about lately. Plus, I want to research more meal planning tips. Any tips would be great!

Sorry for such a short post but time to go do what I need to do.

Happy Tuesday!

  1. Mental Vacations are always a good thing. I find myself in theme often actually. I try to mentally rest at least once a week. Yoga is my BFF!!

I am currently in the process of writing my Be Fearless post too AND meal plans! haha

I realized that even though I have lost weight, I've been really lazy. I lost my gym membership tag on my car keys (my car keys were accidentally thrown away by the little guy I watch and nobody noticed). Or alt east thats what we are assuming because they have been missing for like 3 weeks now! So I need to get to the gym and ask for a new one! BLAH! I also just need to get to the gym and stop making excuses. I am a morning work out person but now that I nanny, I can't workout in the morning..so nights it is but by that time I am too worn out. I need to make myself go. Also, I am getting back on my strict diet. Like for real this time!

    Happy Tuesday!

  4. You work your tail off with so many different things, that you totally deserve a break! Plus, I am right there with you. My office is driving me nuts. I legit looked at my stacks and almost cried because I’m so overwhelmed. So happy I’m going to Vegas tomorrow! Even though it’s not a total break because I’m taking study material for my test in July!!
